 XPonCard is a service company that offers plastic card concepts - from production to administration - for safe payments, smart mobile solutions, increased loyalty, and secure identification. XPonCard is the market leading supplier in the Nordic plastic card market and is actively working to convert the countries around the Baltic into a new home market. The Group also has a global operation in the SIM card market. Its customers include banks, telecom operators, chain stores, traffic companies, and regulatory authorities.

Our name       


                         

 Pon comes from the latin word "pons" which means bridge.
Expono stands for "issue", "expose", "display". By adding X you strenghten the meaning. XPon is therefore an expression for builing a strong bridge between a company or organisation and its customers and members.

1957 AB Inplastor was established in Sweden
1968 ID Kort AB was established
1971 data-z started in Denmark
1976 ID Data was established in Norway
1993 ID Kort in Sweden, ID Kort in Norway, previously ID Data, and Inplastor became part of Graphium
1994 Paragon dz Card in Finland was established as a joint venture with Paragon
1995 dz danmark, previously data-z, becomes part of Graphium
1996 dz finland (previously Paragon dz Card) becomes part of Graphium
2001 Graphium was established in Thailand
2001 All companies, except Inplastor AB, change their names to XPonCard
2003 A representative office is established in Russia
2004 XPonCard established companies in Poland, Estonia and the USA
2005 XPonCard inaugurated the service agency in Latvia and established a representative office in Indonesia
2006 Representative offices were established in Lithuania, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Nigeria and Argentina

 2007  All Card Service Center, ACSC, became part of XPonCard Group
