SIS
The Swedish Standards Institute (SIS) is the official Swedish standardisation body, which works in a large number of areas to draw up Swedish versions of internationally adopted standards. SIS marking can be found on such items as ID cards, where the SIS code constitutes a unique identification number which is independent of the cardholder’s other personal details.
