Serigraphy
Serigraphy – also known as screen printing – is a printing method based on the use of an ink bath with a fine perforated cloth in the base, through which the printing ink is pressed. The tray is placed directly on the base to be printed on. Prior to this, the actual printing design has been transferred to a negative film, which is mounted on the cloth in the ink tray. Thus the film acts as a barrier layer and the printing ink can only penetrate those areas of the cloth where there is no film.
