Ticket
The classic ticket is a receipt and a negotiable document which enables the holder to witness an event or travel with a means of transport such as a train. Nowadays, the transport industry draws a distinction between tickets and travel documents, where the former involves the confirmation of a transport service and payment, whilst the latter refers to a document which comes to practical use during the actual journey(cf. travel document).
